You can ask us to delete your Harvest Tycoon account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This works the same way whether you signed up with an email address, with Google or with Facebook.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to info@harvesttycoon.com with the subject “Delete my Harvest Tycoon account”.
- Send it from the email address linked to your account. If you signed in with Google or Facebook, that is the email address of your Google or Facebook account. Please include your player name.
- We may ask you to confirm the request, so that nobody else can delete your account.
- We delete your account and confirm by email, within one month of your request.
What we delete
- Your sign-in details: email address, password, and any link to your Google or Facebook account.
- Your player name, avatar, farm, progress, inventory, coins, diamonds, statistics and leaderboard entries.
- Your farm family membership and contributions, event entries, and help, gifts and requests. Where a record also belongs to other players, for example a family’s shared history, we make it anonymous so that it no longer identifies you.
- Your reminder settings, push notification addresses and daily email subscription.
What we keep
- Purchase records (what was bought, the amount, the date and Stripe’s payment references) for as long as Dutch tax and accounting rules require, generally seven years. They are no longer linked to your email address or player name.
- Data we need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
- Deleted data can remain in backups for a limited time until those backups are replaced.
Deleting your account is permanent. Your farm, progress, coins, diamonds and purchased items cannot be restored afterwards.
Signed in with Google or Facebook?
Removing Harvest Tycoon from the apps connected to your Google account or Facebook account stops future sign-ins through that service, but it does not delete your Harvest Tycoon account or game data. To delete those, send us the email described above. After we delete your account, you can also remove the connection:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Harvest Tycoon → Remove.
- Google: your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → Harvest Tycoon → Delete all connections.
Menu names can differ slightly depending on your app version.
